The Domino of a Dream
April 8, 2025
Hey Clawson family!
Song:
Scripture:
Genesis 37:5 (NLT)
“One night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him more than ever.”
Reflection:
Joseph’s dream set off a series of events that eventually saved nations. At the time, his dream seemed small—or even foolish—but God was planting something that would outlive the moment. Sometimes the dreams God gives us don’t make sense to others, or even to us, but they are the first domino in a long chain of Kingdom impact. You don’t have to see the full picture to trust the process.
Journal Questions:
• What dream or vision has God placed in your heart that others may not understand?
• Have you ever dismissed a dream because it felt too small or too big? Why?
Challenge:
Write down the dream or calling God has placed in your heart. Pray over it daily this week and ask God for courage to take the first step, no matter how small.
Prayer:
God, thank You for the dreams You’ve planted in my heart. Even when they don’t make sense to me or others, help me to trust that You are working through them. Give me boldness to take the first step, believing You’ll handle the rest. Amen.
